The big bed. The first one that feels real.

This is the age when the room becomes a world. A place to sleep, yes — but also to play, to build, to have a friend over for the first time, to know exactly where everything is. The junior bed that finally replaces the cot. The soft rug that makes the floor the best seat in the house. The storage that puts clothes and toys where small hands can actually reach them.

Sometimes it's a first room of their own. Sometimes it's shared with a sibling — which means it needs to work for two very different people at the same time.
